Youth Red Cross (YRC)

Introduction

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) is a constituent of the Indian Red Cross Society, focusing on engaging youth in humanitarian service and promoting Red Cross principles. Its vision is to prevent and alleviate human suffering, protect life and health, and ensure respect for the human being by mobilizing volunteers and donors. The mission involves inspiring and encouraging humanitarian activities to minimize suffering, fostering a climate for peace, and promoting health, civic responsibility, and friendly relationships among youth.

Youth Red Cross (YRC) is a program designed for young people, typically between the ages of 18 and 25, within educational institutions. It is a platform for youth to actively participate in humanitarian efforts, promoting health and well-being, and fostering a spirit of service and understanding.

Objectives
